Bought these speakers for my old WinXP computer that i use video capture software on to record old VHS videos and make them digitized... and the playback sound is great actually... loud enough to hear clear playback etc... had the volume, bass and treble on maximum settings and No distortion... so pretty happy with purchase... if you want to shake the walls at parties it may not be suited for that... but overall they are great for the price and loud enough to play games, youtube videos etc... A+
